Most trips that go wrong at the airport go wrong on paper, not in the air.
Start with passport validity. A large number of countries require at least six months of validity beyond your return date, and airlines enforce this at check-in on the outbound leg — not on arrival.
Next, check transit. A layover can require its own visa even when you never leave the terminal, particularly through the United Kingdom, Canada and China. Book connections with this in mind rather than discovering it at the gate.
Finally, keep digital and printed copies of your passport, visa approvals, insurance policy and hotel confirmations in two separate places. Every client travelling with us receives a single, always-current travel document — but redundancy is free.
